Aspen’s Hosts First AI Data Summit

Aspen News

Aspen is excited to host its first AI Data Summit this week in collaboration with L Marks. The summit will focus on enhancing the use of AI in our business through co-creation with external tech companies.

Over three days, cross-functional teams made up of Aspen employees and external suppliers will tackle challenge statements specific to Underwriting or Claims processes. At the end of the summit, teams will pitch their solutions to a judging panel.

This event underscores our commitment to leveraging AI to improve efficiencies and achieve optimal outcomes for our customers, aligning with Aspen’s values of innovation and collaboration.

We recently launched Aspen Data Labs to provide a framework for our data science and AI initiatives. Recognizing the power of collaboration, we will continue to partner with external experts to complement our internal talent while also expanding our in-house capabilities.

Rob Houghton, Group Chief Operating Officer, said, “I’m excited to see the outcomes from the AI Data Summit. This event provides a great opportunity to collaborate with external partners, bringing outside knowledge into the business, whilst also leveraging the fantastic talent we have within Aspen. I can see there being tremendous opportunities with the evolution of data science and AI initiatives and I’m looking forward to harnessing the potential into the best solutions for Aspen.”

Jonathan Smith, International Head of Distribution & Innovation Lead, said “This event epitomizes several of Aspen’s values. We’re pleased to see the summit as the next step in Aspen’s innovation journey and I’m excited to see the ideas pitched towards the end of the week.”
