David Adamczyk honored with David Fries Award at 2024 RIMA Conference

We are proud to announce that Dave Adamczyk, Aspen EVP, U.S. Railroad, was honored with the David Fries Award during the 2024 Railroad Insurance Management Association (RIMA) Conference in Banff, Alberta.

This award was given in recognition of Dave’s long career in the Rail Insurance and risk management space.  Dave joined Aspen in November 2015, after serving in executive roles at Liberty International Underwriters, Arch Insurance Group and Zurich Insurance.

The David W. Fries Award is sponsored by RIMA, acknowledging an individual who exhibits exemplary risk management efforts and/or practices in the railroad industry, specifically those relevant to the constituents of RIMA. The award was established in honor of the late David W. Fries, who served as Director – Risk Management for the Norfolk Southern Railway and is a past-President and officer of RIMA.
