Henry MacHale was appointed Chief Strategy Officer and a member of the Group Executive Committee in July 2022, focusing on the formulation, execution and communication of the Aspen Group Strategy. He is the Global Sponsor for the Race and Ethnicity Employee Resource Group within Aspen’s D&I workstream, and a member of the Underwriting Super Group for ESG.
Formerly, Henry was the Portfolio Director for First Party & Specialty, and stood as co-CUO AIUK for three years reporting to the UK Board of Directors. He previously held the role of Global Head of Specialty, and ran Aspen’s Crisis Management business for several years conducting business across the United States, Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. Prior to joining Aspen Henry ran his own business in Nairobi, Kenya, and has extensive experience operating in sub-Saharan Africa. Before that, Henry was on the Graduate Training program at JP Morgan in London.
